Learn about the advantages of modern bunion surgery to make an informed decision.
Understanding bunions is crucial for making informed decisions regarding treatment. A bunion, or hallux valgus, is a bony bump that forms at the base of the big toe, causing the toe to lean toward the second toe. This condition can lead to various symptoms, including pain, swelling, and difficulty in wearing shoes. The formation of bunions can be attributed to genetic factors, footwear choices, and certain medical conditions. It’s essential to recognize the signs early to explore treatment options.

Bunion Surgery in NYC
Modern bunion surgery offer considerable advantages. I perform the specialized technique to repair bunions through 3 to 4 tiny portals which leave minimal to no visible scarring. The technique effectively addresses a wide range of bunion deformities, spanning from mild to moderate and even severe bunion cases.
Minimally invasive techniques lead to less pain and faster recovery with improved cosmetic outcomes.
Patients who undergo this specialized technique generally require less pain medication and return to regular footwear faster than those who have traditional surgery.
